Although we grew up in Bucks County and are quite
familiar with the Delaware River, the Susquehanna really impressed
us. The river is accessible and it's banks are not over shadowed
with development. There were many state access points for boating
and quite a few sections of the river are set aside as wilderness
refuge areas with access for small boats, canoes or kayaks. If we
were to relocate to Central PA, Janet would like to be in the
vicinity of the River and spend time kayaking and enjoying the
serene setting of the water and country side.
