The Winter of 2005 brought a lot of snow to the
area. It wasn't an exceptionally bad winter, like the ice storms of
a few years back, but we did have a lot of snow consistently on the
ground. It can be a chore to clean up after a snow but I get good
help from my friend John Deere. The heavier than normal snow fall
combined with the explosion of development and loss of woods and
fields for the animals has turned our backyard into a
favorite
feeding ground for deer.
